its passed through there digestive system so once they step in poop and get it in there bodys they cont. to poop and step it and that's why you see it mostly on there back legs, I have seen bulls in Winston with it in there fronts a few times. But you are right its spreading fast. I ve seen it in Winston ryderwood, lincon cr, and at the peak above packwood. I think the elk in our state are going to take a nose dive for the next ten yrs.
