Your father will need his regular elk tag to use, along with the special permit. There is no additional cost. You may be thinking of the multi-season elk tag.

That makes sense. I drew multi season deer last season. So only the OIL hunts require the hunter to pay the special permit fee associated with the permit?

So when you got drawn for a sheep permit, you had to pay a substantial cost for to receive the permit; I'm guessing..

Yes, $332 for the tag. The permit is "free."   :)

You're paying for the application, that's what the $13.60 is for. If permits could be bought for $13.60, everyone would be buying one.  :chuckle:

Looks like none of you are getting your permits. They all showed up on my doorstep yesterday when FedEx left several boxes. If you each send me $10 I will go through and mail them back out to you. Good thing there is a burn ban on right now otherwise the boxes would just go straight to my burn pile.

Gawwwwdddd!!   Is it hunting season yet.... Everyone is going stir crazy and getting cranky.

Why are you guys sticking up for these people is beyond me..

I don't give a rip if they are low-level anything, THEY SHOULD KNOW. It's their friggin' job or ask. They gave me an answer, that could of cost me dearly, yet some of you stick up for them.
Im with camp on this 100%.If a,any for for that matter wdfw employee is asked a question the answer should be correct 100% or an Im not sure reply should be given.A wrong answer from them should never be allowed. That goes for any and all LEO in my op.Wrong is wrong if you dont know the answer 100% just say so big deal.

Plus, I take offense to that since I'm disabled. I'm not 100% perfect like some seem to think they are.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

What is your basis for assuming she was not sure? Did you consider the possibility she fully believed she was giving a correct answer?

Now your reaching bob.
You're have lived a sheltered life if you've never been accidentally given incorrect information by a company employee before.
