I have a .308 that is cerakoted in silver, and I want to use it for hunting.  I'm pretty sure deer wouldn't see it but I would like your guys input also.  And what about other animals (coyote, cougar, bear)?  Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks guys!

I wouldn't worry about it too much since you'll be wearing a blaze orange vest for deer.

 :dunno:

And plenty of stainless steel rifles kill all the critters you mentioned. I think you'll be fine.

 :yeah:

Reflection from a bright or shiney surface could be more of a problem.

That would stick out in the woods like a whitetail's tail. I had a whitetail come into an area and about at 80 yards he stopped and looked right at me through the small shooting space I had and saw my face all lit up by the morning sunshine. It took him about a second and a half to turn and run. So they would surely spot a shinny receiver or barrel. Stainless is pretty and weather resistant but easy to spot.
