This was the only other mature buck we saw.  Loved the mass and length of the eyeguards.  He was an old buck.

I saw the old buck on day 2 of a 5 day hunt.  Wasn't ready to punch my tag yet.

The wind was really blowing on our first day of the hunt, so didn't see many deer.  The old 3x3 showed himself first thing in the morning on day 2 and then we never saw him again.  Not knowing what to expect as far as quality of deer goes, I didn't want to shoot the first mature buck I saw when I had 3.5 more days to hunt.  I probably would have shot him on day 4 if he would have made another appearance.

Bone,
we were hunting about an hour or so northwest of Wichita.  No Muleys around there.  I guess they're mostly on the West side of the state.
