Anyone catching in the Snohomish yet?

Also, anyone ever run up river a bit, anchor up, and plunk for them. Thought that might be kind of neat on an incoming tide to motor up and toss anchor. Throw out some gear like maybe a corkie/spin glow tipped with a sandshrimp or something. Do some casting for rollers?
Reports from a buddy saying fish are scattered and he's only caught 3 so far. Plunking from the boat works extremely well, but if fishing the river just use pink jigs right over the side. Slaughtered them last year like that. Filled two catch cards for the first time.

Nice!  Saw a guy on a paddle board off Eagle last week, but he was not fishing.

Not fishing today like I'd hoped.  Tomorrow we'll be down Tacoma way to see if we can pick up any from shore.

It’s raining buckets now.  I expect this will put a damper on the saltwater fishing for a few days anyway.

Nope, it's going to be lights out both Saturday and Sunday.  That's what I'm telling my crew or they won't get out of bed.

We'll be at the mouth of the Puyallup tomorrow.  Hoping the rain schools them up

Well we ended up at Brown's point, with about 50 other people.  Spent 3 hrs there.  No bits and we didn't see anyone catch anything either from shore or the boats

Me and my wife will be out bright and early tomorrow morning. I expect it to be red hot, I will post up a report and some pics.

Yep, same forecast as I read.  Just pulled the crab bait out of the freezer and loaded the coho gear.  I'll run half pink setups and half coho and see what happens.
