Spotted 2 elk today at Fishtrap.

Good pic! Bet they came off of turnbowl. I shot my elk in 02 south of Reardan.

Yeah some idiot shot a 2 point bull this year!! brought it to a check station boasting about the monster muley he shot.....which was an elk and a 2 point in a 3 pt min area!

Turnbull sure is full of elk though........

We took a pic of a spike elk out that direction last weekend. They are coming off of turn bull. Lots of elk out there.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

I wouldn't count on it unless they have permission to hunt the farmers land. Thats how I got the chance to hunt out there, went to school with a lot of kids who's parents own land all around Reardan.

it can be hard to locate those elk too........believe me I found that out living in spokane and when i did locate a few the next process of permission is veyr hard too.........didnt matter I still had fun looking at them....

I hear you guys about access ! Its tough as hell.
We had a few on a peice of land we have permission for, but do you think they were there on opening day ?
Hell no they moved off on us and the other land owner wouldnt let us hunt them. :bash:

Its easy to find the elk around there this time of year, come hunting season they all go back onto Turnbull
