Being that it's 0340 here in Afghanistan I have nothing better to do than to browse this forum and count down the days till I come home/the start of hunting season. Luckily, I got drawn for a Peaches Ridge bull tag during modern firearm. Unlucky part, I've never even hunted the area, always stuck to 340/342. I guess I must have been so excited this year I accidentally made Peaches Ridge my first selection and the Observatory my second, and wouldn't you know it I got drawn. I have received a few messages from friendly folks willing to share some information on this area, but I would greatly appreciate any and all help anyone is willing to provide. I've waited 10 years to finally draw this tag, and yet when I do, I do for an area that I've never hunted before. Thanks for taking the time to read and hope to hear from some of you.
When will you be back in washington? I could pm you a few areas but you will have to do the scouting.
I drew the archery tag. I would be to let you know what I find in September.
I appreciate the information fellas, means a lot for you guys to give a few tips and tricks.

First thing I want to do is thank you for your service. And then congratulate you on your tag it is a good one. Camp on bear gap road, then drive to the top of Chinook and hunt the crest to the fog city trail and then to camp. Its an all day hunt, but have taking a lot of bulls in that area. Stay safe and good luck.White Pass OutfittersKD
