Kuiu icon pro 5200/7200

I have the 7200 . Packs  a whole sheep ! Love the fit and wieght empty. I bungee  the pack down tight  when empty . I bought a 1800 bag for day trips that I will throw if for nothing else to pack extra gear into at camp.

Do you have to buy the pack and frame seperate?

Will the ultra 6000 pack carry weight as well as the pro icon? At 5'6''and 142lb  the pro icon 7200will be too big for me and the 5200 too small. Plan to use it for backpacking also.

the ultra I played with was a cheap piece of junk in my opinion.  I wouldn't waste your money.  7200 compresses well,  it would Def work.

It's the same frame with either bag. Either the frame fits or it doesn't. It doesn't change between bags.

Buy the icon pro frame and whatever bag you choose, then you can take and put whatever size bags you want tow buy  and throw them on the frame.

I put 120 lbs on my Ultra 6000 and a couple 90lb loads last fall and it handled the load very good once adjusted properly. Not much difference in comfort up the mountain than my Kifaru.

Same results with my Ultra.   Had 80 lbs of boned out deer in mine last year and it hauled very nicely.   I used mine as a day pack with 3000 bag.   6000 bag for longer trips.
