I was able to get quite a bit of their gear over the past four months. Have only tried out the tiburon stuff during bear season this year. Most comfortable and best fitting clothing I've worn. As does the rest of their items. Can't wait to put the rest of it to the test.

Also got an icon pro pack 1850. Love it.

Fit is deffinitally athletic fit. If your on the border with a size, I'd size up.

Any of their backordered items is well worth the wait! Although it may be too late this year to get some of them by the coming seasons.

For you guys having stuff on back order I would shoot them an email.  I have ordered all my stuff since July 1st and the only things I have outstanding are my gaiters (fabric issue) and my Chugach jacket (I waited to long to make up my mind between Yukon and Chugach).  I just got notice that my Peloton 200 xip-t hoodie shipped today.

What are some opinions on the Chugach rain jacket?   I am looking at getting a Kuiu rain jacket, but am having a tough time deciding which to get. I am leaning towards the Chugach because it is lighter weight, and is said to breathe really well, and seems a little heavier duty than the Ultra. Don't think I need to go as heavy as the Yukon, but looking for opinions. Does the jacket keep you dry after being in the rain all day, for multiple days? How does it hold up in the brush? Just curious.

I've been using my Chugach rain gear for 3 years now, and it hasn't leaked yet, even busting brush.

I have the Guide jacket, vest, and pants and merino long sleeve and 3200 Icon Pro.  Being a tall guy and somewhat of an athletic build (6' 6" and 190lbs), their stuff fits well and is great quality.  I love the pack too.  I have been chasing for a pack that will fit me well and finally found it with Kuiu.  I have had the Badlands 2200 and Eberlystock's Blue Widow but was never satisfied with the way the fit.  I would recommend Kuiu to others.  As mentioned by others, I would order ASAP.  I typically order stuff from them after hunting season so I'll have it by next season.

I was really excited about trying kuiu, when I was able to finally afford a piece I waited 4 month on back order and finally cancelled my order. Was very disappointed.  :dunno: seems like great stuff though.

Ya a friend of mine at work had the same thing happen. Poor management I wonder how much business they've lost... Does anyone know where it is made? If it's made here in the USA I will probably look into it deeper. But I'm not paying high dollar for Chinese made mark up stuff.

Seems like Sitka and First Lite are the way to go based on these super long back order times.  Ordered a FL puffy today, said it was in stock.
It's a TIKKA thing..., you may not understand.

I'm done with Kuiu until they can keep product in stock. Their stuff is good, not great. I shredded my attack pants on a deer hunt, the brush ate them up. Super down hoodie is great, chugach rain coat is very nice but loud. Merino wool first layer is nice but Icebreaker has everyone beat in this category.
what in the wild wild world of sports???

I know my chugach coat is far quieter than sitkas and the quality is great compared to the sitka stuff . Everything I own and my wife the stitching is coming out

I finally got my gators I ordered 3 months ago, still waiting on the Guide Jacket! I have the Guide Pants, some merino base layers, beanie and neck gator. I like all of the hear I have, just don't like waiting for months to get it! Hoping my jacket shows up before I leave for MT, otherwise it might be back to Sitka!  :bash:
