Just had one answer back to my daughter.  He must be at least a 1/2 mile away.  Will have her try it again a little closer to dark.

We scouted the white river all weekend, didn't hear a single bugle.  Put on about 19 miles, did see a couple nice bulls and a big 5 point but not a single bugle.  That's fine with us, a late rut sounds good for the rifle rut tag in late sept.

Found another herd bull tonight and will post a 6 min video once it uploads...I bugled and cow called with the herd for probably 30 min...he ran around and pushed cows around and bugled then another bull started firing off back farther in the timber

My daughter has a bull soooo pissed off right now that she is afraid that it is going to jump the fence and come up on the porch.   :chuckle:

Had a bull sounding off Saturday afternoon in Randle. Cows were talking quite a bit also.

Awesome!

We had them further south talking all morning the first few days.  But once that sun came it was slow going.  I'll be back out there after I fill this wa tag.  Hopfully all the Bulls we seen are reactive to our calls.

Been a long time... hunters are still lying :)
Been scouting for a month... pretty quite
Lots of rubs and satellites hanging near the cows.
Little noise... way to early
