I hope to have much better stories for you guys soon.  I didn't notch a tag in Montana .  I don't know if I am done yet or not there.  I hope not as it will be the first tag in 25 years or so that I didn't notch for an animal that I hunted for.  I'd hate to start this year. I am hoping my reports help Hornseeker out in his quest this week for his bull.  In the meantime, the ole hunting dog and I are going for another bull quest in Idaho.  I'm a little pitiful on pics as I was seriously hunting, but I did manage a couple.  Some good stories though.  More time to tlak after I put this hunt together.  Another new area, another epic adventure, and again with the Trad bow in hand.  I think I am stacking the deck against me, but man is this fun.   I really want to thank Ernie (Hornseeker) for his help.  He really helped me with my hunt.  If it wasn't for him, I'd probably be lost out in the big woods.   Good luck this week Ernie, and I hope you save me one!

So Dad, Mom was wondering when you were going to stick around long enough to taxidermy some of these things you keep bringing home. :chuckle:

Doug,

You know that country you hunted over by West Yeller... Well...its open till DECEMBER 21st dude... they extended the season 3 weeks... A guy could have a whack at one hell of a bull that is emerging from his other dimension onto the winter range......
