Westport "UPDATE"
« on: August 24, 2015, 08:16:03 PM »
I'm hoping to get to Westport this week end for some sea bass.( Of course it all depends on what my boat guy says). This will be nothing but a meat run. No salmon just sea bass, and maybe some lings, and Cabazon. I just have to figure out if I'm going for just one or two days.

When two days not better than one?  That refers to fishing and hunting days.

With the rains coming in the week end, my wife and I are going to head to Westport next week end. We are going to do a twofer. It will be the last trip of the summer, plus our anniversary week end trip.

If you had a spot going out this weekend keep a close eye on the forecast. Heavy winds 30mph+ are coming through on Saturday with seas to match.

The weather is the main reason I'm staying home this week end. Fish don't mean that much to me to fight the weather.

It was plenty rough today one charter boat popped a plank and the helicopter and boats were heading to it. Had 3 big kings and 4 silvers and gave up could;nt troll into it at all. we were in 175 feet off the casino with the charter fleet.

Saturday morning Ocean Shores was hit pretty good. Was a very vigorous storm packing some nasty winds. Ocean waves were neat to watch come in.
