Fire in bumping
« on: September 15, 2015, 09:56:59 PM »
sunday night my father uncle and I were told there was a fire in the area and all the hunters were being asked to leave... only two days of hunting and its already over. My dad had to pull 6 tree stands and one blind from the area before we left. Hoping I can maybe hunt naneum this weekend when im not in school but im not too familiar with the location so im going in blind and hopefully will get lucky

Are you talking about the fire in the Nile?

im not sure exactly where the fire is located but I was in bumping and was told to leave due to the fire, along with many other hunters. As we were leaving they were closing the road

The fire is east of Bumping.  It is east of Bumping Road.  Where were you in Bumping when asked to leave?

If that's the case, you were very close the fire.  It's in North Fork Rattlesnak Creek near Meek's Table.  If this copied right, the link below shows the area for you.
