Oh yeah, a spike that jumped up and stood there at 20 yards broadside.... It's the same piece that I pulled a nice doe out of the last time I had a second deer tag five or so years ago, but I was on the other side of the road and a lot closer.
Heaviest load ever. Brothers pack was loaded so I packed the bear solo.
