Why no cows?
« on: September 20, 2015, 03:34:17 PM »
This guy is obviously a stud but every time he shows up he is all alone.  This time of year I'd expect him to be pushing a few cows around, but no.  And since he isn't a true spike or a cow he is of no use to me.

Rut over?  Rut hasn't started?  He's gay?  I'd don't get it  :dunno:.

Looks like a really really old bull. Look at his face. Maybe he is too old for chasing cows??

He's just waiting until the little guys round up all the cows and then he comes to swipe them away.  :chuckle:

He might have been pushed out.  Some of those really old bulls will only go into the herd at night and keep hidden during the day.   When we were in Arizona we saw some huge bulls laying down during the day with no cows around them BUT when we were looking at night that same bull we working the girls.   I don't know if they are being smart or what.

Maybe mix a few blue pills in with his feed.

He’s spent the last 3 nights on the private land next to mine, down in the wet lands eating devil’s club and wallowing in the mud.  He comes across my property twice a day, not sure where he goes but he uses the same trail to come and go.  Problem is he’s a waste of my time unless he leads a cow to me or me to a cow.

I’ve got one more day to hunt this week.  I don’t think I should waste any more time watching this guy.

Well now that explains it. Your location says Everett, and talking about your land.  :chuckle:
