WSTA President
« on: September 22, 2015, 11:00:45 AM »
I have got to tell you guys, I might be bias but;
Bruce is doing a great job as President for all of us.  :tup:  I've been a member of WSTA for 34 years now and I've seen a few good Presidents.  Alan Worrell and George Sovie are two that stayed on top of trap issues all of the time.  When Bruce took over from George he said he wasn't sure he could fill Georges boots.  Boy you have filled his boots and they are running over now.  Bruce you are doing a great job !
We have got to give credit where credit is due.   :yeah:  "Thank You Bruce for your work on the behalf of all WSTA Members."  Bruce is fight tooth and nail on your behalf.  Not to many people I know even read what the Wildlife Department is doing and that is how they get things pass us.  Bruce caught some wording on an issue that was heading for the Wildlife Commission and he got it stopped and change.  You can read more about this in our newsletter "The Fur Shed" which will be hitting your doorsteps by this weekend or next week.

If your a trapper and not a member of WSTA or your a trapper in another state, support your state association because they are working hard to keep trapping alive in your state.  Bruce is a good example of who is fight on your behalf.

Thanks Bruce

Thanks, Bruce! From all of our conversations, I have a pretty good idea how much time you put into helping to keep the WDFW in line and keeping our trapping rights in place.

Can't thank you enough, really, there wouldn't be much left of the trapping tradition in WA without the WSTA and it's tireless leaders.
