why worry about what other people say on an internet forum? what is there to be afraid of? Look at bildo he lives for the drama on here, but nothing is going to come of it in the real world. Post your animals and boo hoo to the whiners and haters that don't post positive. I am sure that you can ask a moderator to delete anything you want on a thread you started.  :twocents:

I think it would be a pain for the admin's and you seem like a winnie if you complain.

What did I complain about exactly in my post? or rhetorical question?

If I kill a bull in this year's early muzzleloader season, I guarantee I'll be posting a picture. Even if it's a barely legal three point. Antlerless animals I won't post anymore. Did that once (back in 2007) and got too many comments about how we shouldn't have killed those cow elk. Which is why I didn't post pictures of the doe antelope from last week. But a bull elk will be posted up for sure.

I can't say I care what others think.  I'm taking 2 boys cow hunting, one muzzle one late rifle.  I'm happy to post and anyone who doesn't like it isn't worth replying to  :twocents:

Personally I think if someone loves to come on here and read other people's success threads then you should be willing to share your own. Screw the haters. In the grand scheme of things they have zero effect on anything.

Speaking as a Mod, we try very hard to keep success threads positive. Even more so than normal threads.

I too have noticed some nice bulls this year. Last year, after I had posted my bull, story etc, all of a sudden I had people on my private property. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but it certainly has gotten me gun shy so to speak. I do a lot more reading than posting now a days. Still very much enjoy the good stories and pictures of other members. Still hunt with quite a few of them too. We have discussed this same issue in the past.

It's not limited to the forums. I had a late mulie tag last year. We built a fire and hung my deer at a campsite near the road to just enjoy the day and the success of my hunt. Of course a bunch of rigs stopped to talk and check out the buck. It was by no means a monster but I had hunted 14 days and struggled, so I was proud to have my first deer ever. This old boy rolls up and starts shooting the breeze, sort of half listening to us, tells us his wife bagged a dandy 5x6 and had we seen any "Big ones" with my deer...

My buddy and I just looked at each other and shook our heads.

I wouldn't trade those 14 days or that old 4 point.  :twocents:

So far it seems to me like there is not as many posts in the 2015 Bulls thread as the 2014 and past. But all of them seem to be great quality in my opinion at least. I feel like in the past there would be quite a few smaller 3 and 4 points by now. Anyone else notice this? Better year? or just coincidence?

Early archery elk season end today.  Most people aren't dying to post their pictures until after they get home.  I imagine we will see more in the days/week to follow.  Still a lot of elk hunting to happen this year.

agreed, hard to post your hard earn harvest just to receive a bunch of crap from the sofa guides. :twocents:

couldn't agree more ..... i've never posted a picture, posted one of my son once and it was a three page rant over some crap or another..... what started as a neat ideal has turned into a new generation of internet hunters in need of attention.
