Agreed somewhat. Archery season worse? I've seen more trophy blacktails during late archery in the snow than during any other season.
I just meant as far as the rut goes. I think it would be easier to get a nice rutting buck in late October than even the first day of late archery. That being said, some toads have definitley gone down Once those leaves drop and the snow hits the ground. I'm sitting in my treestand and just heard a crash,
hopefully he gets out into the open.
