Ellensberg quail
« on: September 30, 2015, 03:41:47 PM »
Hello i am a student over at CWU and usually hunt over farther east but would like to know if there are any places close to Ellensberg to go out and have a chance of shooting a few quail. I'm not asking for anyone's secret spot but just a point in a general direction for some public land to hunt would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Oh sure, send them to my neighborhood! :chuckle:
It has been an extremely dry year, birds are around water sources. If your school hours jive with my work hours, I would be willing to meet and point you to some areas, up here in the LT.  Just PM me and I will see if I can help you.

Ice_man,

I also go to CWU.  There is a decent group of us that do a lot of hunting and we more-or-less share our knowledge.  If you would like to meet up, feel free to PM me.  I know of a couple areas that hold quail and other upland birds.  Do you have a dog?
