Idaho roll call
« on: October 01, 2015, 06:09:56 PM »
Who is coming to visit our fair state for deer or elk this year. What species will you be hunting and if you want to say what area

I'll be hunting deer and elk both in unit 39, as well as my second deer tag for the wildlife refuge 5 min from the house.

I'd like to try and head over the week before thanksgiving for whitetail. Never been over and it would be a shot in the dark but you have to start somewhere. Hopefully something works out, if not, I will try and plan again for next year.

Headed over in November for deer. Can't wait. First Idaho adventure for me.

Good luck to you all

92xj if I were you I'd look into some of the areas on the Palouse. Lots of landowners willing to allow hunters if one is willing to knock on a door and ask

Headed over for our annual november deer also. Hopefully lots of grouse again this year also, was fun shooting those little buggers after we tagged out. Looking forward to maybe getting a shot at a wolf also. My brother missed one two years ago there. Lots of tracks
last year also.

All depends on when i notch my deer tag here.  If i find the right wa buck early enough ill head to unit 1 for more deer hunting.  I tend to be picky and let lots of bucks walk though.  This year i have the quality permit, so ill probably be even more selective.  We will see
