HuntWA Member Bahuna Had a Massive Stroke Today
« on: October 13, 2015, 02:28:30 PM »
My hunting partner is 60 and had a massive stroke today while he was at the hospital for fluid in his lungs. As you guys know, I'm not a religious guy but I know he believes. I'm sure he'd appreciate your thoughts and prayers. His wife's a mess, of course. I'll be going down to see him when she gives the OK. Everything's just up in the air right now. For any of you who met with the Region 5 WFW, he's Bruce. I guess that's it. Thanks.

He had a blood clot removed from his brain this afternoon. It had blocked bloodflow to the left side of his brain for five hours. This affects his right side and speech motor functions. Like with any stroke, they really know nothing. He's lucid and able to answer questions with his eyes. His wife's a basket case. This is incredibly tough for both of them. I'm very sad but I can type and talk. That's all I have. Thank all of you for your kindness, which I'll certainly pass along.
