Two Swans shot today @ fir island
« on: January 18, 2009, 10:57:16 PM »
well my buddy was hunting at the north dike today and twice saw hunters shoot down swan. both times they got the heck outa dodge, but i believe the race is on to grab up some points by cooperating with the Man. If you are on here, and odd are you are not, but if you are: Run! OR.....Man up and turn your self in and take thefine, lower than you might think, maybe $250. better than being arrested. atleast you can get your story out first, as i have it on good authority that both license plates were seen and recorded with the aid of bino's.

i might add a big P.S. Thanks for making the other 99% of us look like sh!t, you idiot!  there is a big difference between a snow goose and a swan you dork. especially considering that these swan were 20 yards up.

Hunting down at Big Ditch today, a guy in his older 20's came and oined me in my blind out of nowhere, and as a flock of swans few overhead the expression "look at all the snow geese" came out. I looked at him and told him if he thought those were snow geese, to turn around and hang up the waterfowl career. I had to explain the difference, and the legality of swans. I hope now he won't make the same mistake... as what happpened up at Fir Island.

Good job. Man i got ta' say and i'll get beat up for this, while there "are" new and responsible young hunters being introduced to our hunting these days, there are also oh so fking many stupid tards out there. its clear that so many are in it just to shoot, and couldn't find their ass if they were wearing it as a turtle neck.
maybe i'm just getting old, and grouchy, as i'll admit, i was no genious myself, when i started out.

p.s Stan, That gun is not available, my buddy, decided he likes it. i yerrrn for the day he is cured from his A.D.D.

What a bunch of idiots  >:(  You would have thought the 20 in long neck would have given them away.

I've been seeing a small flock of 10 or so birds on the way home every night in the daffodil fields in Sumner. They are neat looking birds

I saw a moron shoot at snow geese in Alaska. I was young and stupid, got so pissed I rained lead on their blind and screamed at them that those were swans and not geese. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr >:(

So to all you young hunters don't follow my example or you'll be spending money on lawyers as I have done over the years.
