Kuiu - Need Help Choosing Jacket

I need some help... Just got off the phone with Kuiu, and my Guide Jacket I ordered months ago wont be here before I leave for Montana! 

My other options are the Chugach NX, Teton Soft Shell, or the Kenai. Have any of you worn these? Any recommendations? My next option is to go back to Sitka.

What are you using it for? Montana will be pretty dry so I dont see the need for a rain jacket (NX) i would go with the Teton or Kenai.

Probably the teton since you were wanting a soft shell when you ordered the guide.

If your wanting to use the jacket as insulation i would go kenai or super down.

Verde. I just need the jacket, but I live in western Washington, so the "Rain" part of the jacket wouldn't hurt anything! My concern with the Teton is the light-weight factor of it...

What about the Chinook, that might meet you needs but if you going for rain gear get the chugach, it will hold up well and give you a hood if you need it.

The Chinook was my second choice, but they don't have that one in my size/camo pattern either!

I use Kuiu clothing, really like it. I also use, and like, tactical gear for hunting. Look at what Crye Precision has to offer in jackets. Some water resistant, some not.

Get the yukon.....you won't be disappointed. ...

Yukon is a great raincoat but you will sweat in it . I wouldn't get it for normal hunting use like you would use a soft shell coat for. If you want a down puffy coat go to Costco and save a bunch of money )

None of your options is really the same as the guide. If your looking for that weight of softshell id look at other brands.
