Anyone know any good areas to hunt whitetail in the huckleberry or mount Spokane unit.  Trying to get my son his first deer

I would just look around a bit. or do some scouting trips in the middle of the rut when there is no season. get some doe in estrous and try to call one in with grunt or rattle calls. if you get one to come you'll know where it is for late season. MF or muzzy or archery?

It is modern firearm for the youth hunt.  Goes until the 30th and is any deer.  Should be able to run into at least a doe but just wondering for any additional information
