1 or 2 Elk?
« on: November 11, 2015, 08:46:22 AM »
Is this just one elk? The rack looks a little strange if it is just one.

Also is this a Rosie?

It was spotted in Bellingham on 11/9, does anybody know anything about this elk?

Looks like one and looks like a rocky mountain bull pretty thin for a Rosie but could be a cross breed

Looks to be two. One looks to be a spike.

It's hard to tell, the two points on the left and the one intertwined are lighter colored.

East side bulls?

If that's one rack I'd love to see it. Those 4th and 5th points are at a weird angle and would be exceptionally long!!! :yike:
The angles definitely do not look right for a rack lying down like that.

Easily one.

Your seeing the 4ths of both to the far right.

The intertwined looking points are the eye guards on the left side. Appears the seconds are more sweeping on that side. The thirds are short, fifths are out of view.

If it were two branched bulls, they'd be dinks. Even if one was a spike, that would be an average wetside branch.
