am in the market for a new bipod.  have a stoney point but it is noisy and cold and doesn't swivel.  it must be at least 60 in when extended.  I tried a trigger deal but it was real heavy.    any ideas on the perfect bipod.    thanx,    mike w

I was going to comment on the trigger stick, yes heavy, but the speed of it getting in position is incomparable. its a pain to carry around but just might make the difference some day between success or not.  IMHO
“In common with”..... not so much!!

I like the trigger stick, instructions say to not use them as a walking stick but I do.

Bought Trigger Sticks and they broke on the second or third outing.  Had a huge ordeal with customer service and they wouldn't replace.  Sent a letter to Bill Primos and they ended up sending me two sets.  Sold both on eBay.

Round 2 was with the Boggear.  First one arrived broken (clamp around extensions was made with cheap, brittle plastic.).  Second set arrived broken at a different spot.  Third set was the second set sent back.

Round 3 was with Cabelas brand tripod.  Worked ok for first season, then it broke at the gear when I went to open it up.  They somehow gave me my money back.

Round 4 is Harris bipod.  Only regret is that I did the above 3 rounds to get here.  Keep in mind I am very gentle with gear and shooting sticks are the only thing I have had problems with, knock on wood.  Plastic moving parts just doesn't work in the wet and cold.
