For those that read them and haven't trapped before. Just think how much excitement is built up walking to every set. At least it was with me. Miss it for sure. Thanks for sharing and keeping the memories alive :tup:

Thanks guys, having fun this year and only running about 8 to 12 traps at a time so it's been slow and steady, which is good as some night I spend a couple of hours just trying to drive to my spots to check traps.

 I hear you on that ! Between bobcat and Marten traps it's 4-5 hours round trip but well worth it!! :tup:

Well what a great check today.  5 sets and had one snapped 330 due to heavy rain and one that was untouched.  But the other 3 held a nice big beaver, a medium beaver and a nice otter!!

This medium beaver was caught in the crossover in the second photo





When I took this photo I though it was beaver #3, didn't realize it was an otter until I got over to him.  :)









Made the 1/2 mile hike uphill a bit of a chore!!
