Down East Whitetail

So I ran across this picture from back home. Thought it would raise a few eyebrows. Have had guys here laugh when I say 300# field dressed bucks and 200# does. This was from the 50's. I had the chance to see some bucks hanging not quite this large back in the 70's but over 300# hanging.

Maine and NH deer are huge. My first was a doe that weighed 135 lbs, dressed. Enormous.
