Bearpaw, curious as to why my post was deleted? It was in no way disrespectful. Anybody who has actually hunted or been to the Jicarilla would understand what I wrote and chuckle. You should make sure you read what was written instead of targeting. :hello:

You essentially said you have no respect for him.

Are you kidding me? The hell I did. I've never spoke a bad word about the guy ever. I don't care if you like me, but do NOT make untrue accusations up, regardless if you own this site.

What I don't get is why Dan doesn't post these himself under his own account?
3 posts in a year and all are pics of great animals and Dan? Is this a dummy account?

Great buck!  I see the beer business is still treating him well.   :chuckle:  We use to do a lot of business with him.

I was curious what line of work he's in.

Congrats, Mr. Agnew :brew:  :chuckle:
he also owns around 6,000 acres in the Margaret unit that produces a ton of money in fir bows each year.

I wonder if he stopped in Dulce for a beer with the locals on the porch of the only alcohol joint on the rez?? I will have more respect for him then.

Cool off, I don't know who you are and it doesn't matter, perhaps I misunderstood your comment? It came across to me as disrespectful so I removed it just as I remove other disrespectful comments in success topics regardless of who posts them. If it was some kind of inside joke that I don't understand please explain? Definitely nothing to get too worked up over! Just trying to keep nasty/snide comments off of success topics!

I've been in that joint, and the casino.  The casino is OK after dark, the "bar", not so much.  It's a tough crowd.  But other than that place, I have been treated very well, and have nothing but positive things to say.  I wish I could afford a bull or a trophy mule deer hunt.  Until then, going and shooting a cow with my dad is quality time in the field, and quality meat.

its a forum and folks are allowed to express their opinions in a respectful way. ( unless it involves politics :chuckle: :chuckle:) i think you expressed your feelings quite well AK  I like hunt wa because of the different opinions and the ton of experience on here wheter it be trucks, atv's, sopes, politics, economics, mule deer, photography, guiding  etc.. Some posts even make you question your own opinions

its a really nice buck. Would I rather read a multi paragraph DYI story of a DYI OTC hunt with a similar pic.? Yep I would but this hunter is obviously very passionate about hunting and is a decent guy by all accounts so a big congrats to him. Would I do the same hunt now that i am older, not as mobile if I had the financial means. Yep I would. 20 years ago this type of hunt would not have interested me to be honest.

I think it is more of a frustration thing for a lot of sportsmen when they see tribal trophy pics, or high priced trophy pics, me included sometimes btw, that our hunting oportunities are diminishing,  or so it seems,  year by year and the price to hunt and/or fish seems to be just going up and up and out of reach for many sportsmen.

hopefully that trophy deer will be a a sports show in the future so i can see it up close

Not sure how I missed this but awesome buck.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

FYI, Doubledrop is legit. I'm sure he has his reasons for his limited posts on here. Frankly if it wasn't for his posts of Mr. Agnews successes, we would be unaware of them. I know I enjoy seeing them.
Sweet Buck!

I wasn't intending to impugn Doubledrop or Mr. Agnew.

I was just chuckling at the thought of that being an account operated by Dan.  :hello:
