Craig,  I know they're letting water out of Long Lake, but was there ice in the narrows heading up the arm?

I have been out a couple nights and not a bite, but heard that guys the day before near the pens clobbered them. we tried worms, trout bellies, hot dogs, salmon bellies and a mix of the above.

Thanks for the report. Looks like fishing in the areas of the pens will be the ticket.

How big do the burbot get in th river? I've only heard of people catching them up north of Newport in the lakes until I saw this post. Just curious...

Temps are suppose to be 32 high and 22 low Friday night. I use braid cause if I don't after one trip I will be respooling the line cause of the line twist. We catch burbot from 2lbs to 9 1/2lbs being the biggest.

Craig how's the lot at the store? I was there last week on the first warm day and could hardly stop in my Toyota. Just wondering if we should dump the boat first.

This is what they look like, and this is what you'll look like when you get your hands on the slimy bugger. They eat really good though.

Good luck all-
