My Archery Blacktail Buck

Got lucky and saw a nice buck, hit it through the heart at 40 yards.

I'm on break at work lol so here's the quick version of the story. Nice coastal buck roaming around the area in november. Saw him a few times. Watched a guy miss him with a gun at 80 yards, broadside during firearm season. He disappeared after the rut, then made a surprise appearance on my family's property in late archery. Shot him through the heart at around 40 yards, and he hit the dirt pretty quick.

I have been and probably always will be a whitetail freak but there is just something special about big black tails like this one. They are so cool.....good for you!
