Don't we have a member on Hunt-Wa that is president or something high up at Cascadia Wildlands?
How come nobody has sued for Wolves not being delisted, I don't know all the population numbers but my guess is that since they were let loose out of the Yellowstone habitat pens they haven't had any declining population numbers in any state. They are virtually immune to being killed out like like they were in the past, our avenues to control them aren't lethal enough.

You only hear of the animal activist groups suing..Never hear of the sportsmen suing ..It is a joke ! I wish everyone would just give up hunting one year ..Every state ! And then lets see what happens next . This seriously needs to happen . Sportsmen need to take a stand like never before ! Much as I love to hunt I would do it in a heart beat if the majority would comply !

This has been brought up on this site before and it is amazing how many will not take such a stance. Excuses like I only have so many hunting seasons, or let others do that so there will be less people in the woods for me. If we in WA could do this for 1 or 2 seasons I would have to think it would get attention here and other States. I would like to hear others weigh in on this as to whether they would or would not give up a year or two to have an impact. You could always take the money you would spend here and go to a neighboring State. I sure would be willing.
Whatever the federal funding that WDFW received would not come close to making up for the total $$$ lost to the State. The financial impact on local business and others who support our outdoor endeavors goes far beyond licenses sales. I believe that is part of the bigger financial picture that the State does not realize. The environmental groups espouse the position that site seeing and hikers would bring in more $$$ than the hunting community. I do not believe that to be the case.
