Looking to buy new bow sights
« on: January 01, 2016, 01:29:19 PM »
So I have been looking to buy some new sights for the bow for quite sometime now and I think I have it narrowed down between a couple of different ones.  I am looking to get some feedback/input from some of you that might have these sights or know a lot more about them then I do.  I have been looking at both the spot Hogg tommy Hogg and the spot Hogg Hogg it sights.  After everything is said and done, there isn't much difference in price.   I am more of a simple gear kind of a guy but I do like the idea of being able to practice at a longer distance with the tommy Hogg then I can with the Hogg it sights.  let me know if you guys have any input for me that can possibly help me make my mind up.

Not sure you can go wrong with either.

Thanks D-rock and I am sure you're right on that.  Just having trouble deciding if I want to deal with all the extra stuff on the tommy Hogg or just stick to the more simple sight.

For hunting I would stick to the more simple sight. I use the Right On from Spot Hogg. Simple and bright!

That's what I was leaning towards but I do know that some people like to use the adjustable sights that are out there.   Thank you!

I shoot the Hogg It and leave the Tommy in the drawer strictly because of the weight difference. :twocents:

So looking into it more and listening to some other people's advice, I think I will go with the Hogg it sight.  One question I have before I swipe the card.  Does any one on here have any experience good or bad with the quick release Hogg knob?  Trying to find some info on that system but there isn't much out there on it, hopefully that's a good thing.
