7MM WSM,Brass
«

I talked to Winchester just a few moments ago an he said they will be making Brass for the 7mm wsm but wouldn't give a date. I asked him if the round was discontinued he said no , there hasn't been demand for it, which my reply was there are a lot of 7mm wsm owners on line looking for brass an if they were to put it on the shelves it would be gone fast. Then he said you can back order it from midway and others and I said that all the ones I have looked at say no back orders , told him I have been trying to get the Brass for more than a year. I also suggested that they Put out a memo online that it was going to be available in the future and was not discontinued.I Don't know if this will help but if a lot of people call an tell them they need 7wsm Brass maybe they will get some on the shelves. Winchester Olin 1 800 356 2666 they only call you back on Mondays. Just had to try to get this Brass one more time. Jaques Bonet.

Seams to be a similar issue with 300wsm and 325wsm as well

Just emailed their customer service via their website. Squeaky wheel sent.
And their cookie cutter auto generated response I assume:
Thank you for contacting Winchester Ammunition.
We appreciate your business and we look forward to providing you with the same high level of customer service and support you have come to expect from us.
Here is the initial question/comment you submitted to Winchester on 1/12/2016along with our response.
Question:
Non availability of 7mm WSM brass casings, and low availability of loaded ammunition. Unable to locate brass for 7mm WSM at all. Loaded ammunition is also virtually non existent in my area. Please provide source where components are available.
Answer: This product is currently out of stock due to the demand of other products. It is scheduled for production later in 2016. The best way to obtain this product would be to place an order with a local dealer in your area. As soon as this product is made available, that dealer would receive a shipment.
Best Regards,
Technical Services Dept.
Thank you for your feedback and for being a valued Winchester customer.
Sincerely,
Consumer Service Department Winchester Ammunition For additional information on Winchester Ammunition products, please visit our website at Winchester.com.
