It's too bad they don't prosecute Indians for poaching deer and elk like they do for poaching shellfish.
Yes, I know. I read Operation Cody and that's how I know, even when they have evidence of deer and elk poaching by Indians, they won't do a thing about it.
Nice to see that the Tulalip tribal enforcement officer was also arrested for poaching. Makes you wonder just how big this problem is.

The last paragraph........."The man whose job it was to oversee the Tulalip tribes fishery was arrested in August. Joe Hatch and his son were charged in tribal court with poaching and trafficking shellfish."
I am waiting to hear what the sentence will be. Pay some fines, big but probably not earth shaking. Lose their license for 2 or 3 years, which won't stop people like that anyway. And why watch a thousand crab come out of the water before arresting? That sounds crazy.
