Shot some owls on Eide road with my buddy Jon the other day.  For you gearheads, I used a 7D2 and 600L II handheld.

Those are really awesome shots. The last is my favorite.

Awesome ..I always liked owls ..We used to have some huge ones back in PA ..  I MEAN LIKE REAL BIG ...Grey Horned Owls ... I see a couple here and there around my place now but nothing like the owns back east ...

I especially like #s 4, 5, and 6.  But of course they are all excellent.

Awesome pics.  I always enjoy watching the family groups hunting cooperatively in late summer, and once was fortunate enough to watch a flock of 25 diurnal hunting during fall migration. 
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
