i went down there a week or two ago to find it was crowded as hell(on a wednesday afternoon), murky and no fish.  i've honestly never seen that many people in the january unless a push of early fish had come in, either somebody caught something and told all their friends or everyone had cabin fever.

i live 10 minutes from the river, and drive up there quite a bit just to watch the circus.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

Went this morning. A lot of people (forgot it was a holiday)and not a lot of fish. Cool thing about the skook is there's a lot of spots to fish even when it's crowded. Got two old silvers and 1 small steelhead. Water conditions were really good though. Just need another month or so before the steelhead start coming in thick.
