R.I.P. Glenn Frey

R.I.P. Glenn Frey, founder of the greatest American band ever. I never took a hunting road trip ever without the Eagles greatest hits on board.

Ya, just heard the news on the way home from seeing The Revenant.  Loved Glenn and the Eagles for many, many years.  He's gone too soon.  RIP Mr. Frey.

I have been to the real "Hotel California" in Todo Santos Mexico on the Baja peninsula. It is about 1 hour north driving time from Cabo San Lucas. That Church on the album cover is right next door to the hotel. The Eagles spent a few months down there writing the album. At the hotel there is good food. But while I was there, I heard the song at least 15 times before we left,...lol. Plus on the street was a "mommy van" with British Columbia license plates. That is a very long drive.

 8) R.I.P. Glen Frey............ :'(

I feel lucky to have finally gotten to see them in concert last year with the History of the Eagles tour.  They still nail it every time.

:yeah:  There was nothing like driving around town in the 70's with the truck windows rolled down and the Eagles cranked up as loud as that old radio could go.  So many great memories..... R.I.P. Glenn.

 :yeah:
