These guys are delusional.  Obummer says the NRA tells all these lies, yet 82% of people support it.  Who are they getting this info from?

Get your "NO" vote in there before they shut it down.  Pass it on.

The smoking gun?

Quote
Examining all the mass public shootings in the US from 2000 through 2015, shows that states that adopted additional background checks on private transfers saw a statistically significant increase in rates of killings (80% higher) and injuries (101%) from mass public shootings.

:yike:

This appears to be Obama's "if you like your guns, you can keep your guns," speech.

That link is worthy of bookmarking or a sticky, btw.

Several polls say the same thing.  Most support increasing background checks, but most also believe they won't effect gun violence.  Pretty much sums up the liberal stance.

All of this is just smoke and mirrors to get the ball rolling toward what they really want.

The question for this poll reads as follows:

Do you support Obama's new actions on gun control?
Yes
No

If you are a gun owner and/or believe in the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution, the answer should be NO.

As of 1-16-16 the results are:

Thank you for voting!
No  70.3%  (5,680 votes)
Yes  29.7%  (2,400 votes)
Total Votes: 8,080

Over 70% of the respondents do NOT support Obama's unilateral, anti-gun actions.

I know its cool to see but we have nearly 8 years of Obama NOT listening to the people so I'm not sure what good this will do?  :dunno:

Directly affecting what Obama does.....this wont do anything.

Possibly opening the eyes of someone who is on the fence over the gun control issue.....that's where a poll like this could help.

Wow, lots of surprises. One, that NO is winning, TWO, the Times is running the numbers, THREE, how idiotic the comments are in favor. Seattle needs to become it's own state.
