Pheasant and Quail Hunting 2015-2016 (Walla Walla report)
« on: January 27, 2016, 12:16:26 PM »
This year God has blessed my family and I with the opportunity to take my 4 year old princess and my 6 year old nephew out for some deer/pheasant/quail hunts. This is a short narrative of a few of those trips with a few pictures.

Alexa, my princess asked to go deer hunting this year, excitedly of course, I agreed. It took some convincing before mom would agree but we made it out nonetheless. She did awesome and we were rewarded with a once in a lifetime trip.

After the deer trip she asked if we could take the dogs out and get some birds, again I proudly agreed. We even had my nephew come out. The day was a typical Walla Walla December day, mid 30's and cloudy. We prepared the kids and then the dogs. We hunted a creek bed surrounded by fields and walked west to east with my brother breaking brush with the dogs in the creek bed. The kids did great, staying by my side. the look on their faces was priceless as the dogs sniffed out the first bird. We didn't even shoot at them as we were more concentrated on the kids getting to see some wild birds. On the next round we let loose the shells and dropped a couple of birds. It turned out to be a great day with great memories made. Here are some of the pictures from this year's hunts.

A lot of quail and pheasant this year, we managed to harvest a fair amount of birds and many more missed.

  Awesome
Right wing shooter, I aim for the left!!!

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.
