Yeah, it really was... 

Funny story, when we got there we saw a large 13 footer and were starting a stalk.  One of the villagers said that the one we were going after was a baby and that we should go for the big one!  We asked how big he was and he put his hand at his waist and said it was that big (meaning it was between 3 and 4 feet tall!).

We laughed but decided to go look for it.  When we found it we say he was not kidding!  Bummer to have lost it!

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
