I think we have to also remember what these are and are not. I knew going in - they're not going to be AS GOOD as full bodies, but I knew they're going to be better than silhouettes or socks. They're definitely closer to full bodies in terms of look and quality to my spread than silo's or socks... For me, where I hunt geese a lot, I hike in, and can't tow a trailer out to the field... So these will allow me to take out 3 or 4+ doz decoys easy - instead of a dozen (or multiple trips back to the truck).
White Rock was super easy to work with and quickly fixed the issue. They also told me their latest shipment fixed a lot of the quality issues that their first shipment from China had. I suspect the big box chains still has product from their first shipment. The replacements sent from WRD had much better paint and overall quality.
As for getting them to form more quickly - I plugged the hole in the tail, and blew from the stem to get them to form quickly. I then set them upright sitting on their base and put them in our bathroom where it heats up and steams during showers. I recommend buying directly through WRD - this way you have a direct line of communication if you run into any issues, they're very responsive.
