Bull pics
« on: September 28, 2007, 07:21:01 AM »
I took the girls out this eveing.  We went up to one of my favoite places.  It turns out they have logged the heck out of it.  Logging is good, but they sucked at cleaning it up.  No money in it for them I guess.  Anyhow, got the girls in between two bulls.  the wind was whipping and I think they winded us.   They both went silent.   I didn't have much photo light left, so I took them up to a pocket that always has a bull.   Sure enough.  This bad boy answered me and came right in.  He gave the girls a heck of a show.  I think he heard the camera at about 40 yards.  He hung there for awhile then turned to leave.  I called a couple more times everytime he looked away.  He really wanted that cow.  Another bull is duped to bearmanrics cow call.

I was really happy with my young ladies.  Lilly was a bit bored, or not feeling well I guess as she has been sick, so she layed down to wait for the elk come in.  She showed great restraint in not moving eventhough she couldn't see him very well.   My little huntress Daisy, who shows the greatest interest in outdoor things (magnifying glass on the ground type girl) loved it and is taking two 8x10s to school for show and tell.

Great Pics Bone, sounds like you had a great time with your girls!
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.
