Daughters dipped euro
« on: March 01, 2016, 06:39:13 PM »
I finally got around to boiling and dipping the buck my daughter was with me when I harvested. First big game animal any of my kids have been with me on. Surprised her when she got home from school.
Now therefore, please take your weapons, your quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me

Did you do the spray paint on water dipping? I've been planning on trying that for my daughter's deer that she got a couple years ago.

Looks awesome and she seems so excited. Good job dad.

I too am curious of your process. :) I see the online videos all the time but haven't heard anyone doing them and if they work as easily as they look.

One happy looking little girl. Great job, dad.

Yes it is just as easy as video looks. I've done several, and all turned out nice. Only problem I've had was when very cold out (low teens) the paint didn't go on smooth. Still looked good, but, paint kinda bubbled. Used a 30 gal storage bin. Wrapped electrical tape around antler base to keep paint off. Simple
