RH Aluminum Boats
« on: March 23, 2016, 09:26:41 PM »
Anybody familiar with these boats out of Oregon-country?

Just reconnected with a long lost cousin that works for them and I've never heard of them (not that I would - I'm a land-lubber).

They are the main brand of boat that Cabelas carries. Don't know much else about them personally.

River Hawk?  My brother in law bought 1 a few years ago. Excellent boat for the price point. My other brother in law liked it so much he bought an identical one. Both are 16' open boats. Very stable. We had the first 1 on Hood canal shrimping and crabbing. Handled really well in rough water. I think they both have 65 jets on them. And 6hp kickers. Loaded with 4 people and crab and shrimp gear they go pretty good.

I looked at them, I don't like the back transom or those 2 boxes. They make a super pro v and that boat is sweet! But its only in 20ft and im in the market for 16-18' foot boat.

my dad's buddy bought one second hand from someone who had buyer's remorse.  he took out the 2 rear boxes...i agree, they are a waste of space and pointless to have on a river sled.  he likes the boat for smaller rivers.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun
