Wishing I had some good news to share but looked for about 3 hours yesterday.. no bear  :'(  I think I got those first bear jitters and rushed the shot and pulled high. I set up a couple cams in the area and will be back tomorrow evening to check them out.  Pretty bummed right now, but i need to shake it off because there's still some hunting season left.  Good luck guys.

I would take a dog for a walk.
Not saying I would use it to find the bear or anything like that of course.

Copalis bear down! Tagged out round 3 pm yesterday,  120 yard, double lung shot. I made this shot count!    I'll post pics later today or this week.  Dropping it off at the butcher at 9.   :IBCOOL:

Copalis spring bear! I put in some time this year, I had this tag last year and didn't do it any justice.  This was probably my 12th or 13th day in the woods for spring bear and I made it count.  Spotted this bear from about 3/4 to a mile away and got in front of him and was able to get within 120 yards, he gave me the perfect shot, and I took it. He went 30 yards at most before hitting the dirt.  As we were gutting him out there was another decent sized  bear watching us at 50 yards!!  This bear measured 6 foot, and was 300 pounds.
Also I sighted my gun in about 3 hours before I harvested this bear and I'm glad I did. I was all over the paper, so reference the bear that I was looking for a few days ago, he's still fat, happy, and alive.. I guarantee it!   Good luck guys.
