Curious about your opinion on the accuracy of the gold tip calculator trying to get in that 12-13% range

You can download Archers Advantage for $39.99 last I checked.  Then you can get arrow recommendations, sight pin settings, FOC, cut charts, over/under charts...  It's a bargain in my book!  But if all you want is FOC the GoldTip program is plenty accurate for calculating FOC.

Forget the KE calculator.  It doesn't mean very much when you are dealing with hunting arrows.  It's good for calculating how much thump you are going to give a rabbit with an Bludgeon, but beyond that is a rather worthless tool once you screw on a broadhead.

All I did for this, was take a scrap piece of 2x4, and cut it at a 45 degree angle on both sides to make a triangle, then try to find that balance point.

Ended up adding some weight to the nose estimated foc is now around 12.7% & arrow weight is 461gr
