Chehalis river for springers.

Has anyone ever fished the chehalis this time of year for springers? They opened it about a month ago, never been just trying to gauge if it's worth it or not.

It's a really small run. I talked to a biologist last year that was doing some kind of study on them, and he said it was pretty tough to locate them when there is only one fish per mile of river.

you probably have better options for catching a fish. Very few and far between. Plus the nets have been in in the lower River

the run is usually something like 1500 fish for the entire river. knew somebody that used to fish for them up by rainbow falls, but you can't fish up that high any more.

We use to bank fish for them at different spots between Brady and Porter and fish for them out of a boat between Oakville and Porter.
