Are morels just now starting to pop up in the blues or have they already begun? Found a couple in one of my spots but they were really small.

I haven't been down there in years because of all the commercials hogging everything in sight. I will let you know that I was out a week ago up above cle elum and got 8 #s of nice fresh morels. It has been showery for the last 5 days and I'm going again tomorrow. RULES HAVE CHANGED FOR RECREATIONAL PICKERS IN WENATCHEE/OKANOGAN NATIONAL FORREST. Go to
http://www.fs.usda.gov/detailfull/okawen/home/?cid=stelprdb5415105&width=full
and download the rules and print them out,one per picker as by the new rules each picker must have in their packs a copy of the new rules. With my 8 #s I was still well below the 5 gal limit. gl and watch out for tics!

The flush where I forage is basicslly over. This week of rain was too much. Maybe if the Temps jump this week we can get another good push

That's weird because there was no morels in my usual spots and I've been going up every weekend since the snow receded and still no morels.
