Port Protection rifle
« on: May 24, 2016, 11:54:06 PM »
I watched a Nat Geo show called "Port Protection" the other day and the old fella named Gary Muehlberger had a really nice looking rifle. Wondering if anyone here knew what it was. Here's a link to a photo of him with it. http://media-channel.nationalgeographic.com/media/uploads/photos/content/video/2016/04/26/673242691886_Port_Protect_202_HD_C3_AUTH_movie.jpg

It is a Ruger.  Could be a ranch or mini 30.

I have a mini 30 ranch. It's sweet! Never jammed before and plenty accurate. Leupold vx-r 1.25-4x power. (Red dot variable power)

Defintely a Ruger Ranch Rifle

I'll second, third, and fourth that... Its definitely a Ruger Mini14 or Ranch rifle.  I own a Mini 14 in 223, purchased from the Kentucky state penitentiary system.  Very reliable, and accurate enough.

Does yours have the factory folding stock? I've seen a few from pens that had the factory folding stock on them.
